PRINCIPLES FOR OPERATING THE TEMPORARY STORAGE STORAGE
A temporary storage warehouse allows goods to be stored for a maximum of 90 days. During this period, all customs formalities must be completed and the goods must either be declared for customs clearance or moved to a customs warehouse.
In order for goods to be placed in temporary storage, they must be declared on the basis of a „DSK” (declaration of temporary storage).
In exceptional situations, the DSK declaration may be replaced by other documents, i.e. cargo manifest, summary declaration or other transport documents.
While the goods are stored in the warehouse, the owner may have access to them, but may not make any changes. This applies to the appearance of the goods, their properties and packaging.
