EPI-TIR applications

EPI-TIR APPLICATIONS

EPI electronic preliminary transit information is required upon entering the territory of the Eurasian Customs Union (Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan). In accordance with the guarantee resulting from transit under a TIR carnet, an EPI-TIR application fulfils both customs function and guarantee function.

Required documents:
•  Registration documents of the tractor and the trailer (double-sided copy);
•  CMR transport documents and invoice,
•  Number and expiration date of the TIR carnet,
•  Specifications or packing list,
•  Driver’s passport,
•  other documents depending on the specifications of the imported goods e.g. health checks, veterinary checks, etc.

TD – TRANSIT DECLARATION APPLICATIONS

Electronic preliminary transit information is required upon entering the territory of Russia. A TD application satisfies the form of a customs declaration for the purpose of transportation of goods from the Border Customs Office to the site of the Customs Office for final customs clearance.

Required documents:

  • •  Final customs clearance office,
  • •  Registration documents of the tractor and the trailer (double-sided copy),
  • •  CMR transport documents and invoice,
  • •  Number and expiration date of the TIR carnet,
  • •  Specifications or packing list,
  • •  Trailer sealing certificate (from 1 June 2021),
  • •  Veterinary or phytosanitary certificate for plant or animal products (if applicable).

TRANSIT GUARANTEE

Transit guarantee (excluding transit under TIR) is required for certain types of goods and in case of transportation of goods into the territory of the Kaliningrad Oblast whose buyer’s office is located outside the territory of the Oblast (so called deep Russia e.g. Moscow)

  • •  Registration documents of the tractor and the trailer (double-sided copy),
  • •  CMR transport documents and invoice,
  • •  Number and expiration date of the TIR carnet,
  • •  Specifications or packing list
  • •  other documents depending on the specifications of the imported goods e.g. health checks, veterinary checks, etc.
